					26/06/2022 To Foster Love and Respect To Humanity. On June 19, 2022, the Knights of Rizal from China, Hong Kong & Macau together with Kababaihang Rizalista Hong Kong Chapter(KRHKC) commemorated the 161st Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the Philippine National hero. A patriot, physician and a well known publicist who contributed for the Independence of the Philippines during the Spanish rule, through his peaceful way of reform using his writing that enlightened the mind of the Filipinos and unfreeze the nib of his mighty pen for Sovereignty. A flower offering was made at the historical markers first at D'Aguilar Street, where Dr Jose P. Rizal once had a Clinic. The second one at No. 2 Rednaxella Terrace near the intersection with Peel Street, the actual place where he once lived in Hong Kong. The 3rd flower offering was at the historical marker at the intersection of Shelly Street and Rednaxela Terrace. And on the same day at the actual place where Dr Jose P. Rizal once lived, the Kababaihang Rizalista HK Chapter held an Induction ceremony of KRHKC new set of officers for year 2022-2025. In Commemoration of the 159th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. Jose Rizal - Filipino Political Leader and National hero. José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda, born on June 19, 1861 and died December 30, 1896 in Manila. He lived with in a well-off and well-educated family in Calamba, Laguna in Philippines. Rizal spent 10 years in Europe going to numerous Universities. He was known as a man of many talents, a Patriot, a Doctor, a Novelist and have an Outstanding Intellectual Ability. A man of letters who was an inspiration to many. While in Europe, Rizal wrote two of his most well known novels namely Noli Me Tangere (1887~Touch Me Not/The Social Cancer) and EL Filibusterismo (1891~The Reign of Greed), that ignite and further spread the revolution and freed the Philippines from 300 years of Spanish colonial era. Rizal was publicly executed by the Spanish at the age of 35 by a firing squad in Bagumbayan, Philippines. This extremely rational man exemplified the paragon and desire of his people and motherland, it will remain and continue until the next generation and continue inspiring us to this day.
